Position: Finance and Administration Officer
Location:    Dar es Salaam

Reporting hours: 0800hrs and complete 1600hrs with lunch break

Duties and responsibilities

1. Implement financial policies and regulations of the organization
2. Prepare and reconcile general bank statements
3. Ensure financial transactions are properly done 
4. Quality control on all membership communications, advertising and literature to ensure the comply with organization guidelines
5. Prepare income statements
6. Prepare balance sheets
7. Develop and deliver membership marketing campaigns across all channels
8. Synthesize membership data into comprehensive reports that can be delivered at senior management and board level
9. Implement reconciliation systems with the Finance Department to ensure that Membership and Finance reporting of membership income is consistent
10. Assist with preparation of the budget
11. Assist with the annual audit
12. Maintain financial files and records
13. Manage the repair and maintenance of computer and office equipment

 

Key qualification and experience

- Minimum qualification - Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university, CPA holder is added advantage

- A minimum of three working experience in a reputable organization

- Fluent spoken and written English including computer literacy

Position: Business Development and Marketing Officer
Location:    Dar es Salaam

Reporting Hours: 800hrs and complete 1600hrs

Duties and responsibilities
1. Identification of business opportunities and assessment of market potential
2. Identify and select participants for micro, small and medium enterprises training programs
3. Assist in developing relationships with the local business community and with institutions which provide similar services
4. Monitor effectiveness of the services and assess their impacts
5. Provide business advices to women SMEs from all categories and sectors on site and office
6. Organize and conduct training programs
7. Promotion of the TWCC/Members and enhance its visibility
8. Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the business development activities of the organization
9. Assist trainees in preparing their business plan
10. Organize exhibition/trade promotion events for members
11. Support in registration and formation of women groups for easy access to services
12. Project proposal writing, execution, monitoring and evaluation
13. Identifications of consultants and development research methodologies
14. Promote markets for groups and members
15. Promote networking among SMEs business including inter business visits as well as experience sharing
16. Assist members on business registration and formalization
17. Any other duties as assigned by the employer from time to time

 

Key qualification and experience

- Minimum qualification - Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, Human resources or any other discipline with appropriate management skill from recognized university

- A minimum of three working experience in a reputable organization

Position: Membership, Policy and Advocacy Officer  
Location:    Dar es Salaam

Duties and responsibilities 
1. Develop and implement a membership strategy that maximizes the benefit of being a member for both the individual, Companies, Groups, Associations and Platforms
2. To promote and coordinate the recruitment of new members
3. Ensure the database of members is accurate and up to date
4. Lead on the production of the quarterly members’ newsletter
5. Lead advisor on emerging policy and advocacy across the organization and country programs
6. Ensure the organization is informed on changes in policies across the Government departments
7. Responsible for  the direction of all policy and advocacy projects
8. Responsible for effective coordination and implementation of all policy and advocacy issues for women business in Tanzania
9. Participate in formulating, recommending policies, strategies and plans for TWCC and its members
10. Research on policy issues that affects women business and liaise with policy makers as well as law makers
11. Supervise and coordinate policy and planning, review analysis to support evidence based advocacy
12. Build relationship with other private sector stakeholders in pushing the advocacy agenda
13. Project proposal writing, execution, monitoring and evaluation
14. Responsible for development of all policy proposals
15. Support on the plan for annual operational activities
16. Develop effective advocacy strategy to follow up

 

Key qualification and experience
